Dunkerton Cooperative Elevator is one of eleven single location Cooperatives left in the state of Iowa, and proudly serves members and customers within a 50 mile radius of Dunkerton. Dunkerton is just 15 miles northeast of the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works. Dunkerton Co-op was formed on December 21st, 1944 after two private elevators in the town of Dunkerton sold out and area feed prices went up. An adult evening vocational agriculture class discussed the situation and started the study of cooperatives. Members of this class went on to be the chartering members of Dunkerton Cooperative Elevator.  

Today, Dunkerton Cooperative Elevator handles grain, feed, and agronomy products. We have a truck wash that takes a wicket card, and a 24 hour fuel island that takes debit/credit cards as well as our own Co-op card. We also offer Automated Fuel Delivery (AFD) through Cenex.
